In Prayer

Supplications taught by the Prophet ﷺ inside the prayer and right after it.

  1. 1.Sitting Between the Two Prostrations

    اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَاجْبُرْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي، وَارْفَعْنِي

    O Allah, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, mend what is broken in me, keep me well, provide for me, and raise me.

  2. 2.Seeking Refuge Before the Tasleem

    اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَمِنْ عَذَابِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَمِنْ فِتْنَةِ الْمَحْيَا وَالْمَمَاتِ، وَمِنْ شَرِّ فِتْنَةِ الْمَسِيحِ الدَّجَّالِ

    O Allah, I take refuge with You from the punishment of the grave, from the punishment of Hellfire, from the trials of life and death, and from the evil of the trial of the false messiah.

  3. 3.After the Salam

    أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ

    I seek Allah's forgiveness, I seek Allah's forgiveness, I seek Allah's forgiveness. O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, Owner of majesty and honour.

  4. 4.The Tasbih After Every Prayer

    سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

    Glory be to Allah. All praise is for Allah. Allah is the Greatest. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. To Him belongs the kingdom, to Him belongs all praise, and He is able to do all things.

    Thirty three each, completed to a hundred

  5. 5.O Allah, Help Me to Remember You

    اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَىٰ ذِكْرِكَ وَشُكْرِكَ وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ

    O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well.

    After the salam of every prayer

  6. 6.The Ibrahimiyyah Salawat

    اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ

    O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent blessings upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious. O Allah, send favour upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad, as You sent favour upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. You are indeed Praiseworthy and Glorious.

    Said in the final tashahhud of every prayer

  7. 7.Peace Be Upon You, O Prophet

    السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبِيُّ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ

    Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
