Glory Be to Allah as Many as His Creation
Subhanallahi wa bihamdih, 'adada khalqih, wa rida nafsih, wa zinata 'arshih, wa midada kalimatih.
Glory be to Allah and praise is His, as many as the number of His creation, as fully as pleases Him, as heavy as the weight of His Throne, and as endless as the ink of His words.
What it means
When you feel that your worship is small, this dua measures it differently. Instead of counting repetitions you attach your tasbih to things beyond counting: the number of created beings, the weight of the Throne, the ink that would be needed to write Allah's words. It is a lesson in how to praise when words run out.
When and how
Say it three times in the morning, unhurried, thinking about what each measure means.
Its virtue
The Prophet ﷺ passed by his wife Juwayriyah, who had been sitting in dhikr since early morning, and told her that he had said these words three times and they outweighed everything she had said all morning, reported in Sahih Muslim 2726.
